New Jersey Condos
New Jersey is the most densely populated state in the U.S. with regions of the state lying within the metropolitan areas of New York City and Philadelphia, which can make finding the right condo a task that requires time and patience.
Bordered on the northeast by New York, southeast and south by the Atlantic Ocean, the southwest by Delaware, and west by Pennsylvania New Jersey has six different regions. The Gateway Region, located in northeastern New Jersey, lies within the New York metropolitan area with many residents commuting daily into the city which makes condos near transportation harder to find because of high demand. Northwestern New Jersey is known as the “Skylands” offering rural communities in wooded and mountainous settings. The “Shore” located along the Atlantic Coast is known for its vibrant beaches and carefree lifestyles with many people owning summer condos along the coast to vacation to and/ or use as an income property.
The Atlantic City region, while mostly a tourist destination offers condo living for extravagant as well as traditional lifestyles. The South Shore region which includes, Cape May and Cumberland, offers a historic Victorian setting along beaches, golf courses, and nature preserves, excellent for bird and whale watching. The Delaware Valley region, located along the central west and southwest state line are within the Philadelphia metropolitan area offering many urban developments with traditional charm.
New Jersey has six cities with populations greater than 100,000, they include Newark, Jersey City, Paterson, Elizabeth, Edison, and Woodbridge Township. The capital city of New Jersey is Trenton and has a population slightly less than 90,000.
