Mississauga - Absoluteworld is an absolute work of art
[TORONTO, CANADA]

Its lines are sleek and its curves are smooth and graceful. It stands tall and proud with a sex appeal unseen in any type of high-rise structure. It's more than just a building; it's an architectural marvel and a true work of art. Absoluteworld building one is part of the Absolute development's 5 composite structures and is something to behold. Dubbed the "Marilyn Monroe building" it is simply stunning to look at and is 56 stories high.
The Absoluteworld building two is also stylish and curvy and is more reminiscent of a Grecian urn, but for my taste lacks the sex appeal of building one. Building two is some 50 stories in height. These condo complexes will be located in downtown Mississauga, Ontario just outside of Toronto. Yansong Ma, a Chinese architect and founder of his own Beijing design studio, devised these fabulous edifices.
Fernbrook Homes and Cityzen Development Group commissioned the project and are the main builders. They held a creative challenge called the Absolute Design Ideas Competition in which some 90 entries were received from over 60 countries. Yansong Ma's design was chosen as the winner and his company MAD studio was commissioned to devise the blueprints. Construction began in the spring of 2007 and should be completed and available to occupy by 2010.
Real estate agents are already clamoring to represent its units as demand is expected to be very high for these lovely apartments. Who wouldn't want to live in such a trendy domicile? It's all about conveying one's persona. This has got to be the ultimate in expressive living. I would just love to own one if for no other reason than to simply show off the panache of my living quarters to family, friends and colleagues. Making people envious can be so much fun.
Besides the towers there is a center called the Absolute Club that is an exclusive recreation and gym area offering various amenities only to owners of an Absolute condo. The Club area features over 30,000 square feet of space and also includes indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a billiards room, media room and library etc.
The floor plans offer one and two bedroom apartments with an upstairs entry to the bedrooms. The various sizes are in the amount of square footage one prefers. You can have a spacious or smaller condo, depending upon your preferences. Some even include dens. A deeded parking space is also included in the purchase price. And talk about a view, no matter which way you face you have a magnificent view of the city and beyond.
I can't think of a more impressive structure to come along in years. I believe it will probably set a precedent for all future building designs and will create a demand for such stylish architecture all over the world. It could even set off a housing boon in undeveloped locales. If this is the wave of the future then I plan on waxing up my board and riding out a breaker. Surf's up!
