Altos De Miami Opens Sales Center

New Mixed Use Development Seen As Catalyst For Little Havana Revitalization -

MIAMI , FL (July 27, 2006) – B Developments today announced the opening of the sales center for Altos de Miami, its latest mixed-use development in the heart of Miami.

Located in Little Havana, Altos de Miami is the most recent offering by veteran real estate developer, Miguel Angel Barbagallo, principal of B Developments, whose company is a leader in affordable, mixed-use, urban infill developments throughout South Florida and Argentina. With Altos de Miami scheduled for completion by the end of 2006, the sales center has opened to facilitate re-sales of the project.

"In order to meet the strong demand for quality and affordable residential product in this area, Altos De Miami is opening a sales center to handle inquiries regarding re-sales and a few available developer units being brought to the market," Barbagallo says. "With over 80% of the project sold, now is an exciting time to learn more about available opportunities with Altos de Miami."

Consisting of 134-units and rising 16 stories, Altos de Miami is one of the first mixed-use, high-rise developments in Little Havana. Amenities include a covered vehicular drop off area, a double height lobby, concierge/valet parking, a privately walled expansive plaza with sun deck, a multi-purpose room, a fitness center, a fully covered parking garage, individual storage units, a business center, and 10,000 square feet of commercial retail space on the ground floor.

The building's European-style design is the creation of architects Behar Font and Partners and resembles the famed Flatiron Building in New York City, offering unobstructed panoramic views of the downtown Miami skyline, Coconut Grove, and Coral Gables.

"Altos de Miami is a landmark building that embodies the future of what this neighborhood will become over the next several years," says Barbagallo. " Residential and mixed–use projects in the West Flagler and NW 22nd Avenue corridor, like Altos de Miami and our neighboring project, 335-unit Altos Plaza, represent the culmination of years of planning, which will become a key factor in the revitalization of Little Havana." "To further substantiate this trend," Barbagallo adds, "Altos Plaza has already received a formal commitment from Publix Supermarkets to bring the first ever Publix "Sabor" to this area."

"With approximately 5,100 residential units in the pipeline and more than $700 million in construction costs, what makes Little Havana so desirable is its centralized location, proximity to downtown Miami, and its affordable price," adds Pablo Canton, administrator for the Little Havana Neighborhood Enhancement Team.

Altos De Miami residents have the option of choosing the floor plan design that best meets their needs, and can choose from one, two, or three bedrooms, unique lofts, or double-height penthouses. Residences feature expansive balconies in every unit and spacious walk-in closets; kitchens include designer-selected countertops. Bathrooms are complete with porcelain sinks, full-height mirrors above lighted vanities and full-size tubs.

Safety is also a priority at Altos de Miami as there will be security, valet service, as well as 24-hour controlled parking access for all residents.

Ranging in price from the mid $200's, the building is quality workforce housing that is targeted toward the end user and middle class urban professional. Altos De Miami recently topped off and is scheduled for completion in the 4th quarter of 2006.
