Feng Shui and Condos
There are many things to consider when you are purchasing a condominium. First of all, you’ll need to decide on the location and the amenities that you would like included with your purchase. Of course, you will also need to decide how many bedrooms you want and other such basic things that everyone considers when purchasing a property. However, many people do not consider the importance of Feng Shui when choosing a condominium. Whether or not you believe in the ancient Chinese art of furniture arranging, if you are at all interested in the topic, there are some tips to consider when purchasing a condo so that it is in touch with Feng Shui principles as much is possible.
First, make sure that you pick a condo on the highest level possible. This will get greater exposure to air and sunlight, which are two important concepts in Feng Shui. It is also important to try to pick a condominium that does not face out onto an elevator or a stairway. This causes energy to leak into your home and can decrease your overall prosperity.
Also consider how easy certain things are to change in order to make them more in accordance with Feng Shui. For example, it is traditionally considered poor Feng Shui for the front door of your home to be facing a wall, but this is something that is easily fixed. On the other hand, the positions of bathrooms and kitchens may be very difficult to change if not impossible.
We recommend reading a book on Feng Shui to learn more about the principles and how your condominium purchase may be affected by them.
